"The Medium Is The Message" - Marshall McLuhan

This statement of Marshall McLuhan is true even in the present day. Packed in just a few words, the message of this statement is complex. There are different types of messages, but also different mediums. And let's not forget that not all the people think the same. Perception plays a huge part in the way we understand everything.

Advertisers know these and that's why they conduct a research before launching a new advertising campaign. The form of a message ( print, vidual, musical ) determines the ways in which that message will be perceived.

A simple message can be distorsioned by a wrong medium. An information given in print can have another significance when presented visually.
