Many times people arguing what is more difficult. A street fight or ring fight.
I was working as a bouncer for several years and have been involved in many fights. And after my thaiboxing couch told that I have to prove to myself that I'm can step also in a ring I did it.
It was amazing experience 8 years ago.
So what are differences: - guy in the ring is prepered for fight - there is no attack from ambush in a ring fight - there is a referee who prevent hard injuries - in a street fight one punch and It's done - usually when u are not expecting it - no fair fights - many people involved - there are glasses, knifes and guns - no weight class:)))
I think the referee is what clinches it: unless you're really unlucky, you will get out alive, and most probably injury-free.
But in the long run, being a professional fighter is more dangerous, since the chances of you getting hurt increase with every fight; whereas a person out in the street will probably stay out of harm's way - unless he lives in a dangerous neighborhood or is actively looking for trouble.

Yes, totally agree. Being a professional figher means you'll suffer later in life. All punches in head leave damage to your body. For me it was only one fight and really great opportunity to feel how it is. All adrenaline rushing trough your body when comming on stage.
Really great....
