If Massachusetts continues to experience a shortage of snowplow drivers, they should bring back Boston's most famous snowplow operator: Mark Henderson of 1982 "snow plow game" fame!
Not only was it a great moment in NFL history. It was also a case of rehabilitating a convict and reintegrating him into society (Henderson was a convicted burglar on a work release program).
Haters continue to bitch about the game. But, as then-NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle recognized at the time, there was no rule against using a snow plow in this way. The NFL did adopt such a rule later. But the need to adopt a new rule just proves the activity wasn't previously banned.
And for those who wonder what has the government ever done for us?
Helping the Patriots win the snow plow game is ALMOST enough to offset all the terrible evil it does!
