I'm glad you're here and in this article, I'll be writing about the top five masternode coins for 2020, which in my opinion are a good choice, I mean long term choice, with great development and great potential for sure.

For those of you who are new to crypto or who don't know what masternode coins are, time will not permit me to go into the details of all that in this article. This is a helpful article on what masternode coins are and tips for investing in them. Click the link to check it out.

So some of us missed a chance in investing in Bitcoin when it was kind of $500 $1,000 in 2015 and 2016. And talking about masternode coins particularly, some of us missed the opportunity to invest in Dash, for example, Dash was a couple of years ago, like 2 or $3 when they introduced masternode into their protocol. Then most investors were able to buy a masternode for less than $4,000. Now one Dash masternode costs over $74,000.

But the good news is that we still have some nice diamonds here in the masternode niche, which is my focus in this article. So let's get started right away.

My Masternode Picks for 2020

TerraCredit (CREDIT)

Terracredit is designed to provide free and faster blockchain-based payment solutions, which will improve and adapt to an ever-changing Financial and Crypto space. As a cryptocurrency, CREDIT offers a decentralized digital payment solution to the World Banked and Unbanked Adult Population. The main function is to be a medium of exchange that facilitates digital transactions, fast and secured with close to zero-fee.

Let's consider some of its unique use cases so you have an idea of why I place it in my number one position.

TerraCredit is designed by Terra Foundation as a long term project. Emission of new coins is programmed to last for the next 100 years, with a maximum supply of 1 billion coins, i.e. in the new chain after the swap that's coming up on August 1st. At the time of writing this, the circulating supply is 74 billion, this will be swapped in the ratio of 1000:1 bringing the supply to 74 million.

The new chain comes with integration of masternode, which means after the swap, most of the coins will be locked in masternode bringing about a scarcity. And because credit has a lot of real-life use cases, which we will look at shortly, the demand will be high which will consequently hike the price. If you want to earn massively from any masternode coin, the best time to join is when it is taking off. Additionally, it costs a meager sum, less than $1000 to get one credit masternode. After the swap, the price can't be that cheap, so the best time to get yourself a credit masternode is now.

I'm very bullish on this coin because of its use cases, so let's look at them one after the other.

TerraCredit has its own exchange, Terrabit, an all-inclusive platform. It serves as a crypto exchange, a payment processing platform and a TerraCredit mining platform through MiniPoS. Their modus operandi will help them achieve their dream of mass adoption in no distant time. They are achieving this by having physical offices and integrating fiat currencies of different countries of the world. At the time of writing this, you can deposit fiat such as USD, Rand, Naira, Peso and others that are being added by way of franchises in these countries. This way, they are sort of taking crypto to the grassroots, the unbanked population.

At the time of writing this, they are already licensed and operating in South Africa, Nigeria, Colombia, and Ukraine where they secured a registration a couple of days ago. It is gradually spreading to Ghana, Uganda, India, Russia, China, etc. In addition, after the swap in August, the new chain becomes a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

TerraCredit ATM machines and Debit cards will be introduced early next year for worldwide usage. The cards will enable withdrawals of Naira, Peso, Rand, USD, and other fiat currencies in exchange for TerraCredit coins.

TerraCredit native exchange, Terrabit is the first Exchange that enables you to sell coins directly to fiat such as Naira, Rand, Peso, USD. Also, the exchange offers you a unique fiat top up of your wallet with USD (through credit or debit card internationally), Naira, Rand, and Peso.

The team has built an online shopping store where you can buy and sell. The only currency accepted is TerraCredit.

From the foregoing, it is obvious that Terracredit coin is steadily undergoing an organic growth that will make it rival other premium cryptocurrencies.

Wagerr (WGR)

Wagerr is a coin that's focused on the anonymous sport betting. For example, they launched some weeks ago their mobile wallet where you can place anonymous bets which is incredible in my opinion. The coin Wagerr was launched two years ago and it was launched as an ICO, i.e. initial coin offering.

Since its launch, Wagerr has seen a huge increase in betting on its own platform. I've been checking the chart of the weekly betting volume and it shows us an uptrend. On Statista we see as well the size of the online gambling market in 2017, which was the revenue of 45.8 billion US dollars a year. Some analysts estimate the market around $94 billion in the year 2024. On their platform, nearly half of all fees collected are systematically destroyed. Destroying fees diminishes the coin supply. This is a brilliant idea to keep the price of the coin rising, given steady demand.

Wagerr is a masternode you definitely should have a look into it. Like they have governance that is working really well, they have active development, and the increase of the betting makes the masternode really, really attractive.

BitGreen

BitGreen in my opinion has a really special concept because their focus is on green behavior, which is the future in my opinion.

BitGreen is a community project which the community decides via the decentralized governance what will happen next. BitGreen is listed on the Polis app, which allows one to buy gift cards with it, and plus we have the opportunity to top up our ePay MasterCard using BitGreen. This will give BitGreen a huge use case. BitGreen in my opinion is undervalued because a masternode cost actually around $754 at the time of writing this article. Going by the records of the founders, they are serious businessmen. Aside from that BitGreen has its own foundation based in the US.

This year will be a huge year for the green because they will launch their own mobile wallet with Lyft and Shopify integration. Their goal for this year is to attract 500 merchants to accept BitGreen in their stores, and for the year 2021, they want to have in total 5000 merchants that accept BitGreen in their stores.

Divi

Around one year ago, the proof of stake project Divi was launched and its mission is to make cryptocurrency and masternodes easy, and they want to push as well the crypto adoption all around the world. They have as well won the second place in the token tank pitch competition, and the amount was in total 25,000 US dollars.

A few weeks ago Divi was listed on the Polis Pay app, which gives us the opportunity to buy gift cards with Divi and top up our ePay MasterCard with Divi, which is a really really great use case. They will also launch their own wallet and mobile app connected with their Visa Debit Card.

Their masternode is divided into 5 tiers. There's Divi Copper, Divi Silver, Divi Gold, Divi Platinum, and Divi Diamond. In my opinion Divi is a really undervalued project because it costs around $5,444, $16,332, $54,440, $163,321, and $544,246 to run any of these nodes respectively.

Telos

The Proof of Stake coin Telos was launched about two years ago. And in the last six months it showed a phenomenal performance. Telos has actually over 40 use cases. For example, they have their own marketplace which is called Cryptobuy, their crypto major game, their own exchange, which we will talk about in the next minutes, the partnership with cryptocurrency Checkout and the listing on PolisPay.

Telos is one of the few projects that performed really well in 2019. The first time when I invested in Telos, it was around here 27 August 2019, which it costs 0.0038. And now a coin cost 0.015 cents, so I actually made over 350% gains in around five months. Telos is listed on over six exchanges.

And the goal of Telos is to reach one US dollar per coin, which in my opinion is really, really realistic. Telos has a five tier masternode system, which it has collateral of 1000, 3000, 10,000 30,000 or 100,000. I really recommend if you want to host a Telos masternode that you buy 30,000 coins, because the other ones are not giving muchrewards.

Polis

Polis was launched about two years ago. Polis was as well one of the few masternode coins that performed well in 2019.

Polis has launched their own PolisPay app which we can buy directly gift cards and top up our ePay MasterCard and shift our coins to our altcoins. They also launched their own debit card, which is from UnionPay. The impressive thing is that each time you make a transaction on the PolisPay app you need to pay a little fee in Polis, which will stimulate the price of the coin.

Polis coin is also merchant friendly. So every merchant has the opportunity to easily accept Polis in their store. Polis definitely is an undervalued project which has a maximum supply of 25 million coins. And I see Polis is just a little brother of Dash that can perform really well in the next few years.

That's my take on my 6 best masternode coins for 2020.
