I don't really know why, but today I had such a sweet tooth for Matcha.... everything!
So i decided to go and check out some of the best Japanese cake stores in London.
First one on my list was Tombo in South Kensington;
The cake was so delicious, sweet and really dense. It was exactly what i was looking for to cure my sweet tooth.
But something was missing...
Of course you have to pair a perfect traditional Matcha cake with a Matcha latte xD
together, the experience was just right.
Next stop, I'd heard of a high end Japanese Patisserie hidden somewhere in London called Kova.
After much searching, I finally found it and found the famous Matcha Mille Crepe i was looking for;
Without a doubt, this blew my mind. So light and fluffy and yet it was different to any other cake I've had before.
I'd easily call it a taste experience and recommend both stores to anyone in London to try out. But the Millie Crepe...truly, the stand out cake of the day!
