I'm sorry to hear that. The first thing you can try is to watch the many good online tutorials on Youtube. The reason why you fail may be due to the style of teaching of your professor doesn't really suit you. Second, I suggest doing exercises at the end of each chapter for the math textbook and make sure you really understand the logic (and ask your professor if not). Building interest in math is very important in learning math. I know it will be tough at first but if you are passionate in engineering, I feel confident that you can overcome the hurdle

Sorry to hear that. I'd suggest taking the class with another professor, some professors are harder than others. Just ask around and make sure you get the easiest professor. Since you are going into engineering I'm assuming you are talking about calculus. Calculus is only hard if you don't understand the basics sometimes is worth going back and reviewing past books on algebra. I hate when I know how to do a problem and I mess up on something stupid like adding or subtracting. Also make sure that you study with a group, it puts pressure on you to study. It kinda makes you compete with your classmates since you don't want to be the one that gets the lowest grade. Good Luck!

Beautiful post

Sorry to hear it, but please be more specific about why you think you failed the maths papers and what the topics were. Then, I think, you can get more detailed advice. Regards.
