5 hours at 84km/ = 420 km... 3 hours at 90 km/ =270.. 420 +270=690... add 5 and 3 hours to each respective time.. aka 1:30

Dang it guess I'm a day late and a dollar short....

Only 5 minutes late..

Upvoted for the effort to pen down the steps

1:30pm.
At 10:30. Mr Smith has traveled = 84 * 2 = 168 km. So at 10:30 am The distance between Mr Smith and Mr Lawrence is 522km.
Total speed of 2 people = 84 +90 = 174
The time the two met since Mr Lawrence's departure was = 522/174 = 3 hours. So they will meet at 1:30 pm
