The Heart Equation with some awesome motion.

HeartEqGiphy.gif

The full video is less than 5 minutes with music.

I was having some fun playing with some math graphs on desmos.com. I entered in the Heart Equation and added some simple math terms and I was amazed at the beautiful motion it produced. It kinda reminds me of how molecules resonate and change energy levels when the emit or absorb pure energy photons.

Hope you enjoy it like I did. To post it on steemit, I made a video of it and added some sweet background music.

The Music is by Silent Partner. The songs are 'Stay With You' and 'The Only Girl'
from youtube free music files.

Heart Equation has been around for years, I don't know who first discovered it

The motion math was my idea.

I hope you enjoy this like I did.

Please let me know if you think I should make some more of these.

Many thanks.

In my opinion, you could just have the 2nd song - far more interesting transformations. I found myself skipping forward to "the good bits"! :-)

Hope that helps for future videos.

I'll add this to the next Maths magazine, if you're OK with that.

I would be honored to have any of my posts in your Maths magazine.

Thanks for your advice. I agree that the first part was a little slow.

The first part of the video, up until about 1:40, I played with only the frequencies and phases of the terms in the heart equation which had some surprising effects. Then at about 1:40 I slowly added in an additional frequency term giving it some amazing resonances.

I like to imagine how molecules are much more choosey about which resonances they will allow their electron clouds jump to.
