Are your beliefs of your own making?
We could argue this point for the entirety of One's life-span, suffice to say there is no true conclusion and if there were, it would differ from each person - subjectively!
I previously ask this question merely to stimulate your thought processing in this field; wishing to germinate a new seed of thought! A large proportion of people would suggest their beliefs are from ancient text, personal observations, and some say that it just feels right to me! The truth be told, no one honestly knows! The actual entirety of the human belief system lies outside our ability to understand it! Like the famous iceberg model, only 10% can be observed, whilst the remaining bulk resides firmly in the realms of faith.
If your honest and open with yourself, you can now see a huge vacuum/gap/empty space in your evaluation of the world; one that I’ll like to attempt to put back under your command. If you’re anything like me, I simply don’t have time to go over each and every idiosyncratic belief and / or faith system - so for a logical short-cut; let us suppose that all beliefs are incorrect, that you’ve be lied to by most officials, misdirected by your parents, teachers etc. etc..
Tabula Rasa, you are now free to think openly, free to explore all possibilities - not unlike a new born child. Your are unaccountable to anyone, held responsible for nothing and at liberty to embrace your hearts desire. You have now shed the necessity of those daily chores, work, taxes, awkward family meetings, class and social divisions - all gone!! Sound good? Sound to good to be true? Well put on a modern high-tech augment reality 3D set of glasses and kit - then you are almost there.
This is the inescapable future of millions in the post-modern revolution to come - as I see it! Where large groups of the human population are literally baptized into the state of a Computer Augmented Life Form - CALF. Where the individual is not measured by there productivity in the workplace, social arena, family unit or even the bedroom; but by how many hours they spend immersed in a digitally created reality. If you think this too far fetch, then just review the time and dedication spent by those involved with the 3D game ‘Second Life’. Look at how the gaming industry is creating more and more realistic graphical representations of battlefields, racing tracks, adventure and strategically endless games like World of Warcraft.
Once perfected, the infant will no longer be sat in front of a TV, Laptop or iPad; parents eager to get back to their augmented reality will gladly invest in a junior sized device, in order to occupy their offspring. Schooling, will be conducted remotely, as will business dealings, social gatherings, leisure time, vacations; the humble trip to the cinema will be a distant memory. You will walk around a virtual shopping mall with a human crowd capacity of your choosing anywhere in the world, and later that day, your goods will be delivered to your door via drone!
Though for some privileged people, this will appear to be a fabulous means by which to get things done; for others this will be a living nightmare, where children are born into this CALF state, never knowing any different. Many millions, will tend to their bodies in the morning then spend 20 hours plus immersed in this reality, merely to make enough money to do so. Whilst all behaviour, speech, communication is closely monitored, and where descent is quickly and mercilessly exacted.
Though this concept is not strictly new, I have to sincerely apologize as my attempt is not to put forward a radicle new possible future, but to simply highjack your personal belief system. In that, now attempt to make common congruences / associations between this possible future and your own current and present situation. Try to see that you have been born into a preexisting system that is not here to serve you. Stop for a second to understand the gravity that all your beliefs are held on a server somewhere and that you don’t possess either the mental capacity or psychological strength to contest them.
If you have taken the time to future introspect, you may have found that there is little between being sheeple and a CALF. You’ll understand that wire-tapping is a thing of the past, where now communications of entire countries are being monitored and stored indefinitely! If you have carefully read my previous segment, then you’ll now understand that your personal beliefs are merely derived from a pitiful / meager amount of preselected collective ideals, perfected over the course of thousands of years.
Why am I so convinced that this future will come to pass? Well it’s simple really! To date, all belief systems have been derived, contrived, constructed and revised in the attempt to extract wealth from the common man. Once the Gold, Silver, Diamonds, Land and Property have been acquired, there will only be one single / one true source of wealth and that’s mankind. The CALF state will extract not only the working week of a person, but their creativity, individualism, their faith / beliefs - every aspect of the positive human existence will be immersed in a self-perpetuating system, fed by the potential achievements of the human condition.
