It is not completely out of the question that the United States of America may one day in the not too distant future evolve into a totalitarian dystopia at some point in time in the future. This is something that is not fully out of the range of possibilities. People who lived in such a society would have their brains twisted by propaganda in an effort to turn them into mindless gears in an imperial machine. This would be done in an attempt to turn them into mindless cogs in an imperial machine. This would be done in an attempt to maintain some kind of authority over the populace of such a civilized society. People would be subjected to this in an endeavor to turn them into "mindless cogs in an imperial machine."
Some of the electorate is receiving indoctrination to make them fearful of a probable fascist takeover of the government.
The opposing side is being indoctrinated to believe that a communist revolt is about to break out any moment now.
On both sides, people are being conditioned to disregard the reality that the oligarchic totalitarian takeover has already taken place. This is done in preparation for the impending takeover, which will be carried out by oligarchs.
When there is a serious crisis on the world stage, there are three things that are sure to take place:

Some of the most toxic and challenging people to be friends with are those that want you to share their opinions on politics, religion, entertainment, and everything else. This is the behavior of the massive empire that now controls us.
All the symptoms of a pathological narcissist may be seen in the United States empire. It identifies as an adversary everyone who doesn't prioritize their own wants, sees others as things to exploit rather than people to connect with, and utilizes language to control and manipulate rather than share and learn.
The United States focused most of its foreign policy in the 2000s on overt ground invasions on a massive scale (into Iraq and Afghanistan). In the 2010s, proxy equipping in countries like Yemen, Libya, and Syria became a priority. Its biggest two foes (Ukraine and Taiwan) have had massive proxy battles on their borders pushed out to the 2020s.

Subtle sabotage of peace attempts leaves people feeling farther behind. Despite their initial opposition to Bush's strong foreign policy, many Americans today back the proxies fighting in Russia and China. Preventing the manipulators from leading people astray requires immediate action.
