Yesterday (8/11/17) I had the opportunity to meet Julia Heymach - a nationally ranked athlete that just graduated from Lamar High School in Texas. She holds insanely fast Cross Country and Track PRs which - if run in Hawaii - would all be state records.

It was a really fun time to spend with her. I'm glad that I have been able to make connections with the fastest runners from the mainland to the point that they vacation to Maui and I can show them around the island. We went to get ice cream in Kihei and then visited Big Beach - which she said had the bluest water she had ever seen.
