Creating a vision board that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. When you have a vision board and you see it regularly, you actually end up doing short visualization dreams -- which is really motivating! I have included 9 visions in my vision board for 2018 as shown below.

ACTIVE LIFESTYLE. One of the reasons why I want to continue having an active lifestyle is my office work. Why? It involves hours of sitting on a chair and facing the monitor. We need to move! There are many excellent benefits of living an active lifestyle. By adding a small amount of cardio, resistance training, and some stretching to your daily routine, the overall benefits are almost endless. Essentially, being healthy is about adding balance to your life.

EAT HEALTHY FOOD. I'm someone who consumes fast food on a daily basis. And that is not acceptable. Thus, there's a need to eat healthy food and have a balanced diet. A balanced diet provides your body with the vital nutrients it needs to build and maintain healthy cells, tissues and organs, which are crucial for proper growth and development. It will have dramatic potential to improve our health and the quality of our lives.

CAREER GROWTH. In the IT world, great career growth can be achieved if you deserve and work hard for it. I need to be the best I can be – alert, lively, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. I must show a passion for improvement and hunger for learning. In order for me to further my career, building a reputation for being the best that I can be and taking pride in that reputation is needed. I have a feeling that with these, a great career growth is on the way. Ultimately, career growth is our responsibility. I have to make sure that I take charge!

CONTINUOUS LEARNING. In line with career growth, the ability to expand our mind and strive for continuous learning is critical to our success. All it takes is commitment. Being in the IT business, catching up with the latest technology trends is a must. I'm looking forward to studying those technologies and taking different IT certification exams. As what I've said before, call me a nerd but I love studying! The most successful people read an average of 1-2 hours per day. They belong to organizations that encourage learning the most current information and share ideas. Amazing.

EARN AND SAVE MONEY. Most of us spend gazillions of work hours each year to earn sufficient money. But when you have savings and stash your money in the right place, your money starts to work for you. And that is one of my goals. Over time, you’ll need to work less and less as your money works more and more, and eventually, you might be able to stop working altogether (or even make posting on Steemit a full-time job, lol). There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.

TRAVEL MORE. Everyone has their very own reasons to travel. Some people travel for work, some travel for pleasure while for others, it is just a way of life. For me, traveling brings us outside of our comfort zone. This is the reason why I love traveling! From simple experiences like the culture, tradition, weather, food, to the adventurous ones like doing extreme sports, joining festivals, traveling really pushes one's boundaries to the core. Oh, 2018, please let me travel to places I've never been before!

FAMILY ALWAYS COMES FIRST. There are many reasons why family always comes first. My family is always there to give the support and love I need. They are the ones who have known me and been with me from the moment I was brought into this world. Whether it be just relaxing around the house or having a family vacation, at the end of the day I know I spent my time surrounded by the people whom I love and the people who love me. The reasons why family always comes first are unlimited and endless! Hoping to give back to my parents as well this 2018.

TRUE LOVE. I don't want to sound ultra cheesy but true love waits. That’s what they said. Yes, indeed. When you are hurried about love, there's a chance that it will fail. But when you pray for it, and you wait for an answer, you will eventually succeed. Every perfect love is from God. It is during God's perfect time that true love will prevail.

STEEM ON! My vision for the world is to construct a society where individuals feel less pressured into having to do certain things perfectly to earn for a living and where individuals become more trusting of their instincts to help make genuine connections. Somehow, I feel that Steemit can actually transform that vision into reality. By achieving those, a blueprint is laid down to make authentic connections with each other which I believe can change the way that we interact with each other -- helping to produce more joy and happiness and less issues that cause depression and anxiety. Bring it on, Steemit! I want to be a part of something world-changing. :)
