The head of Otkritie Bank, Mikhail Zadornov, questioned whether bitcoin has a consumer value and compared it to the financial pyramid "MMM". He made such a statement on the air of the TV channel "Russia-24".
"There was Mavrodi and" MMM." For me, bitcoin is a synonym for about the same pyramid. It is an asset that has absolutely no real consumer value behind it. This is an absolute accident and it would be very strange to perceive it as a real investment asset, " Zadornov said.
Note that it is not the first time that Zadornov compares cryptocurrency with" MMM". So he said, for example, back in October 2017, when BTC was updating historical highs below $6,000.
"There will be no crypto-ruble, I am absolutely sure of it. These are just the basic rules of the monetary authorities of any country, " he said at the same time. "I will frankly say that the amount of attention paid to this issue is so out of step with the significance of this event that I am simply shocked by these discussions."

"I confirm that the Qiwi package is not strategic for us. We are looking for a convenient moment and a way to sell, conducting negotiations, including with the "strategists", " said Zadornov.
