Paulie Malignaggi is the only opponent that Conor McGregor should face in boxing, otherwise go back to UFC.

What we can learn about Conor McGregor's boxing ability from the biggest fight in history:

1.) Conor McGregor is not a huge puncher in boxing standards
2.) Conor McGregor can be awkward, can switch southpaw and orthodox very quickly, overall fast feet and hands
3.) Conor McGregor can be a good counterpuncher
4.) Conor McGregor needs to work on his stamina
5.) His defence is not that good.
6.) Floyd is not a big puncher and was able to sting him enough for me to believe that a bigger puncher would put him down very quickly. His chin is not bad but I don't think it will be amazing either.

This leaves me to think that if he faces any welterweight in boxing such as Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Lucas Mathysse, Lamont Peterson, Danny Garcia would have all stopeed him. Floyd Could have fought like Brandon Rios and stopped him lol. All these guys I mentioned hits just as hard if not harder than Mayweather, younger too.

The only guy that I can think off that is worth facing is Paulie Malignaggi. Here is why:
1.) Paulie Malignaggi does not have great punching power,
2.) He is old, his retirement is overdue and now he is like a full time commentator part time boxer
3.) Malignaggi is still a name that would generate money, and both have a so called Beef with each other.
4.) If he beats Malignaggi he still gets some props because Malignaggi is a guy that faced Miguel Cotto, Amir Khan, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia etc...

However, if he loses, or worse gets stopped by Malignaggi, it is really really bad not just for him, but for UFC too. People might think that UFC fighter does not have good chin, ignoring the fact that they have many other qualities that pure boxers dont have.
