McDonald's is celebrating its 50th anniversary of the Big Mac. Starting this Thursday any purchase of a Big Mac will include a Maccoin for free!
The Maccoin is worth one Big Mac and holders and collect all five different coins.

Now this is not crypto but still Big M creating its own currency seems interesting. Going to have to try it at least once myself.

I wonder if this offer will stack with the current McDonald's apps promotion. If you haven't heard when you use McDonald's app on mobile phone to order you can get a sandwich, including the Big Mac, for $1. Limit 1 purchase each day until September 2018.

Ba da ba ba ba, I'm loving it!

Did Mayor McCheese approve of the creation of this currency for his government? Also, is this some that we have to worry about the Hamburglar taking from us if we don't properly store it? Enquiring minds want to know!!!

Sorry but I heard cheap and free burgers all my stomach, oh I meant all my mind, was thinking was how to get in on the deal. I think if McDonalds was governing everyone would have big bellies lol.

How many Ronalds are in a McDollar?

100 Ronald cents. Lol.

I might have to break my diet and get a few of these.

Too late for me ;) lol.

I could probably hit 3 McDonald's on the way home, if I do a slight detour.

My wife and I share duty on cooking dinner. I cover Tuesday, Friday and the weekends. On Tuesday and Friday I am considered the favorite parent.

Although I really can't eat McDonalds four days a week. I can not pass up a buck for a Big Mac. The app so easy to use and I you get the burger cook to order.

As a teenager, I could eat 2 Big Mac and a extra large fry without gaining a pound.

They seem so small now, I probably could eat three in one sitting, without the fries.

4 Big Macs and extra large combo was my routine. Definitely unbuckled my belt after each session ;)

You are correct with the size reduction on the burgers. Since "super size me" movie most fast food places have shrink their portions to be considered more health conscious. It does not hurt their bottom line to sell less for more money either. Without the current promotion a normal Big Mac combo runs me a little over 9 bucks plus taxes. No more 4 burgers sessions for me :(

As 1 of 6 siblings, I remember one family trip where McDonald's was celebrating something, so they had burgers at $0.05 and cheesburgers at $0.10 or something close to that. So, my dad went in, my 2 older sister went in and my mom went in and they all made separate orders at the maximum allowed and brought them back to the van.

Yes I had those moments too! 39 cents for burger was another promotion. Although I did not have six sibilings but we I was little I lived near two big Ms that were about two miles apart so my family would go to both on promotional days. Guess I shouldn't feel so bad now knowing it's not just me trying to get a good bargain. Lol.

They should have called them McDollars ^^

I think coin has a catchier tune. Who uses paper money anyone's? (Sarcasm)
