The Golden age of Boxing has passed. How does McGregor vs Mayweather fit in?

The golden age of boxing has passed, where the Mike Tyson era was the end of it.

If Conor McGregor wants any chance of beating Floyd Mayweather, he should watch and study Duran vs Leonard. Leonard was a superior boxer, who would command the tempo inside the ring. What Duran did was cut off Leonard and made him fight toe to toe. Duran got into Leonard´s comfort zone and that threw Leonard off his game. Duran stayed close to Leonard, brought the fight to Leonard, when Leonard was trying run away. Duran kept constant pressure on Leonard all night, where Duran used his Fists of Stone to wear down Leonard. Leonard was not prepared for this kind of fight. I believe Leonard underestimated Duran.

This is what McGregor has to do, if he has any chance of beating Mayweather. I believe Mayweather will win the fight, because he is the superior boxer. If McGregor wants a chance to beat Mayweather. McGregor will have to change the tempo of a boxing match, into a professional brawl/slug fest and trade punches with Mayweather. In a brawl McGregor has a chance at beating Mayweather. Otherwise, Mayweather KO´s McGregor.

Duran vs Leonard 1st fight has to be one of the greatest matches in history.

It'll be over in the first round like many of Tyson's bouts. Golden age of boxing if you like first rounders...yes. Not at the current $8394893 per ticket though :-)

Yea, McGregor is out of his league. Mayweather will most likely clobber him.
