For myself, it's a desire to learn and to teach, as well as to help others in the hope that I'll leave the world a better place than it was when I arrived. There's something alluring to me about discovering something never before thought, then sharing and explaining that concept to those who are interested. I find that a revelation is often much more meaningful if the knowledge within it can be shared with others.
