Before the feast of Eid al-Adha, the demand for animals for Qurban type goats increased. For the Muslim community the Qurban is an obligation for every Muslim who is able to materially slaughter the Qurban and then the meat of every animal that the Qurban will be divided into the poor.
This worship began commanded by Allah SWT. In the second year of Hijriah, simultaneously with the commemoration of the feast day, zakat mal, and zakat fitrah. Rasulullah Saw. Alone, as mentioned in many traditions, performs qurban worship by slaughtering two goats.
Qurban worship, like the Hajj, is symbolic. In it, it contains some deep spiritual meaning.
First, it is an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT .. as an expression of gratitude, then the recitation of takbir when slaughtering the sacrificial animal, writes the commentator Abdullah Yusuf Ali, is more important than the sacrificial sacrifice itself.
Second, sacrifice is an expression of love and sympathy for the weak.
