Week 8 (October 2018)
Everyone has heard of Starbucks, you probably have one near you. They're the McDonald's of coffee. I say that not only because of their international presence but also because I see their coffee as mass produced cheap coffee... Despite all of my opinions, I went to visit their Reserve Roastery in Seattle because it really is a unique thing to see.
The Seattle Reserve Roastery is the first of it's kind and there are only 3 of them in the world at the moment. One in Shanghai, one in Milan and the first one in Seattle. So, it's an experience to visit one.
I like to think that experiences are worth paying for, and they hold you to the paying part at this fancy coffee shop. It was $5.00 for a cup of drip coffee which is difficult to swallow for someone that grew up drinking Folgers every morning.
That said, the coffee was extremely good.
If you are ever visiting Seattle and enjoy coffee, consider checking out this unique experience.
Here are a few photos of the place.

I haven’t been there yet. Is the coffee different than what you get at regular Starbucks?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they only serve what's roasted in the building and they do special roasts just for the reserve... It's worth checking out. ☕🙃
