Discouragement from the auto industry

in mechanics •  7 years ago

I currently own a Honda Fit 2011 ge8.
I want to do a lot of things to it because it is mine and it is my money.
Now the tricky part is running into mechanics that put on a furl on their high brows when they see my car pull into their garage.
"That thing really can not have much done to it. It is more of a toy."
And it goes on like this with every mechanic; receiving a lot of sass that is unwarranted.
Well I know a lot of you do not believe in Gremlins, but to me they are more quintessential to my spirit of than what Christians believe in Satan as a force that opposes Christ.
If the mechanics are this snooty, I can only imagine the Gremlins that plague the big wigs in the car industry.
So this is my belief of why these mechanics have such strong egos.
And well we know that now Trump needs America to be a very strong brand to other countries. But if these demons persist, then perhaps it will not happen, unless someone sees to it to banish them.
I could imagine that if one of my mechanics were to she'd light on that issue, it probably would sound something like:
"Let me break it down for you, your car has much potential and I will show you all of the parts that will go in it and how they will benefit you on the street. And if you need to modify it for racing, I have all of the time to teach you how to make it work."

Not:
'It is not even worth it for that amount of money just throw that thing away, man up and get a new car.'
