It's great that it is now in the news and has the attention it deserves in the mainstream. Unfortunately though, this is a common tactic with the media. They ignore these stories deliberately until it's too late and then they start covering the story after hundreds of thousands are already dead (if not millions). To Me it almost feels orchestrated in a way for them to redeem their reputation amongst some of those who may be critical of their efforts.

I think there is a play going on here somehow.
They don't suddenly start reporting this after years of silence, because of the alt media..
They are doing this for something bigger, to suit _their_agenda...

Ah yes I didn't think of that. The election cycle. The pundits will be talking about it in the mid-term elections coming up in America. Can't let go of a good tragedy for politicizing. How awful.
