The Future of Advertising.

AdEx was created in 2017 to be a mode of decentralized advertising which prevents Ad fraud.

Getting started with AdEx, you could either be:

1. Advertiser
2. Publisher or
3. Both.

Gain access by starting up with either of the options

And can easily switch to the other by clicking on the bottom next to the preferred option.

Both Advertiser and Publisher roles consist of basically the same thing, except the channels and as slots for the publisher, and the campaign and ads unit for the advertisers

In order to gain more accessibility to the Dapp contents, an authentication wallet is required among MetaMask, Trezor, Ledger and Demo. All authentication wallets require the use of a PC except the demo mode.

To perform more action, you are redirected to get an authentication wallet.

Ad slots are placed on channels, number of pages required are indicated, size of page, etc. The only difference between the physical printing press publisher is the selection of paper type. Being virtual, the AdEx is a platform for publishers of every kind.

Not much action can be performed using the Demo. This puts aside a whole market that cannot access PCs.

Navigating AdEx

1. Navigating through AdEx is quite easy. Using the Demo, all you do is click on the three lines on the top right hand side, and that displays all functionalities of the Publisher or Advertiser.

2. Checking the account details is also an easy task, all you do is click on the demo icon and you can either view your accounts or log in

What's Good about AdEx

1. Reduced As fraud. As a major aim of the dapp, it's a good one.

2. The use of appropriate channels in relation to the corresponding Ad, as a publisher.

3. Very easy to navigate and understand, except the use of certain blockchain jargons that I am yet to understand.

Suggestions

1. AdEx loses a whole market with an inactive Mobile App. Future updates should include one.

2. As a streamer, a lot of the jargons could have been explained better or maybe it's just because I'm using a mobile device or it's a personal problem.
