My Day At The Dentist

Well I did leave early and there was a light traffic and I arrived at the clinic around 8:30 am. I thought I was the first but when I opened the door there were already 4 people inside but actually 5 because the 4th person had a companion. So I sat and waited . The air conditioning was good.

The first 4 were actually fast. 1 had a tooth extraction, 2 were cleaning and 1 also had a filling done. All for were done in about 1 hour 15 min. So around 9:45 am the 5th person was next. I thought I would be done by at least 11. So I took a few pictures while waiting of my niece's clinic. Her color combination was mint green and light aqua blue with a touch of violet. A cool and calming effect.

I loved the color of her chair which was violet. She has modern equipment and materials. She also puts braces and maintains them. Now has a small x-ray for emergency use. She has lots of clients or patients because she is located in front of the University and High school. She is located along the main road and has spacious parking if needed.

Her secretary keeps thing in a neat and tidy order. Seems like they are also color coded.

Her prices seems reasonable. Especially the materials are good quality. And the work she does is very good.

Now the fifth guy really had some work done. He had 4 tooth filled and 2 teeth extraction. His first time so my niece had to go slowly. I could see his feet tense when there is pain or if he got nervous. SO it took a long time. His wife who was the forth one just had her teeth cleaned and her braces adjusted. They were teasing him. I did not want to take pictures of them. So he finished around 11 am. More than and hour lol. When he was done he looked tired. I told my niece to rest a few minutes but she said she was ok, she is used to it. But i moved slowly so she would have at least 5 minutes rest.

Light so bright! Checking the inside of my mouth for the things to be done.

Ok, now to start cleaning the tooth and placing the filling using "light cure" which I really don't understand. But it does take time to clean, cure then sand down and more.

With the help of her dental assistant/secretary they finished my 3 teeth in 30 mins. I had my 2 lower back molars filled and repaired and the lower front teeth filled too. She was quick and has a light touch, So I was done a little after 11:30am which was just 30min+ longer than I expected.

Sorry kind of blurry my companion was sleepy from waiting. But this is to show we finished.

As expected sh told me I should have my lower dentures changed and my front teeth extracted. Also to get the "valplast" (?) dentures, hope I spelt it right. The new kind of dentures where the gums are flexible and will fit better. Best for partial dentures but more expensive. Even though my upper is no that kind, it is still good. She made it about 2 years ago and put gold mesh so if it accidentally falls it won't break and can be easily repaired. I said I have to save again from my #steemit earnings. I plan to have a complete dental check-up and works before I leave for the US.

She also mentioned her younger brother who travels a lot was interested in blogging about his travels abroad. I told her to tell him to contact me, anyway he is my godson too. He has traveled a lot to different countries. I hope to convince him to join #steemit and my group #Steemitdiversify.

Well I got a discount and a free denture container. I was told I should remove my lower dentures at night because they are partial. So it won't cause my remaining teeth to break again. That is the reason why my teeth chipped. The perks of having a niece as your dentist.
