Elepanteng Puti Herbal Medicine That Blooms In Our Yard

Steemians, here is another weed/plant that I want to introduce to everyone who believes the healing power of alternative medicines that we found and grow in our yard. In my country Philippines here is this plant we called in Cebuano Elepanteng Puti, and its (Scorpion Weed) in English.
This is one of few plants /weed that we grow in our yard and we benefited for long years of its medicinal benefits. There are many usages or medicinal benefits of this wonder plant /weed if you browse in the net, but what I share for all of you today is what we use for and how we prepared it to cure or treat some of illness,desease that sometime we experienced.
Some medicinal uses of Scorpion weed that we benefited from this plant/weed..
My Parents used to give a cup of tea from scorpion weed for my sisters after giving birth to relief stress.

  • cough
    -wounds
    -abnormal menstruation
    -scabies
    -sore throat
    -tonsillitis
    In our practiced in treating cough , and for late or abnormal menstruation . We used the entire plant/weed from flowers ,steem and roots.
  • clean the entire plant and cut it into small pieces
  • put them in the clean pot
    -add 2 cups of water
  • boil for 5 minutes

To treat sore throat and tonsillitis
-use the tea from boiled scorpion weed to gargle

To treat wounds and scabies
-pick fresh leaves
-rinse and clean
-pound the leaves and put it the top of the afflicted area of your skin
