Happy Memorial Day Monday Steemians!

To everyone who chooses to visit this week's initiative I call Medicine Card Monday, we have an animal spirit card reading. Although we did an animal spirit card last week I am introducing a great new deck to our community.

The name of this deck is called The Wild Unknown - Animal Spirit, created by artist Kim Krans. The reviews were good, but I found the deck to be appealing since there are many cards that will assist others on their life purpose.

All of my readings are geared towards a healing; breaking through mental, spiritual, or emotional blocks that will assist us in overcoming every day obstacles.

If this is your first time swinging by, my Medicine Card Monday initiative is my positive intention to pull a card of healing or medicine for the community. This is different than tarot in that the cards I use are on the medicinal aspect of humanity other than the most common cards found in a tarot deck.

The decks I use are The Wild Unknown - Animal Spirit, Mystical Shaman Oracle, and the Chakra Wisdom Oracle. The cards will assist in helping those interested, find comfort in things going on in our community and the world we are now dealing with. Namely, issues around the world, astronomical, or overcoming health issues of all sorts, etc., maybe just something out of balance that we are feeling on any particular day that needs guidance.

By pulling a card for Steemit this will in turn assist with my Medicine training, give back to the community, and help those seeking answers. I will take some of the reading from guidebooks provided with the cards, but primarily give intuitive and medicinal words to help our community. We all have days when we need encouragement, inspiration, and comfort.

The card I picked for the week of May 28, 2018, is as follows:

Starting in a sacred space with a clear mind and body I pulled the Lizard medicine card for the Steemit community from The Wild Unknown - Animal Spirit deck by Kim Krans.

The Reading

Lizards are reptiles and are differentiated from the snake by its legs, moveable eyelids and external ear openings.

Many Native American tribes recorded stories about the lizard on pottery, petroglyphs, and shells. The lizard is portrayed in ceremonies and stories as a symbol of strength.

When we look at the top of the card we see a triangle for the symbol of fire. This represents the lizard leading us to change. The lizard represents the ego, and challenges us to become our best self. The metaphorical heat this card generates is the elixir of our transformation.

It's a time of action and change deadlines and demands are all around us but all in the name of growth. You'll look back in awe at all that was accomplished. When all else fails, remember fire is the only thing that transforms darkness into light.

That is a deep introduction into the card for us on Steemit, we do see a lot of changes taking place with EOS, the possible Hard Fork 20, and the new tokens coming in July 2018. This is enough to make a persons head spin. The card tells us that when we move along with the change a positive outcome will occur. Do not give up!

The lizard medicine card reflect the words; instinctual, sensitive to the subtle, and dreamer.

The lizard is an expert in the realm of sensory perception. As if it has a sixth sense, the lizard hears what is yet to be spoken, and sees what is yet to manifest. Although this is an amazing gift, it can easily wear the lizard down.

Big crowds, lots of travel, or overstimulation will drain lizard of their essence. This car is an indication to pull back from bright lights and big city. Return to the inner artist, who's been whispering your name.

Things to keep in mind

When in balance: artistic, telepathic, spiritual.

When out of balance: elusive, non-committal, flaky.

How to bring back into balance: a creative project.

Lizard medicine

According to the Native American culture lizard medicine is honored and called upon for its strength when one is sick. The lizard is known to travel between light and dark and referred to as a "dreamwalker" or one who lives in the dreamworld.

Hidden messages are revealed and proper interpretation by a trained translator is often needed. When lizard medicine appears it is time to go within and analyze our present reality. The lizard reveals weaknesses and strengths with the ability to make change.

Those who feel the spirit of the lizard can grow to use their extra sensory perception to connect with their deeper psychic and spiritual awareness. There is a need to move quickly out of the way to prevent danger and be prepared to leave something behind.
