I teach meditation...Buddhist meditation, to be exact unless you are paying me for a corporate gig and then I can call it "secular meditation". Many of my older teachers are ex-hippies and read a lot of poems when they teach, especially from Mary Olliver and David Whyte. While I am a fan of those poets and others like them, this is the one poem that I think just sums up meditative practice perfectly, mainly because I think almost all practice boil down to exercises in letting go.
