For three these things forever deceiving,
Pain, and sorrow, and regret,
And their paths ever converging ever meeting;
For their evenness lie in their pace,
And succinct regularities in their grace.
Love, and time, and beauty; these be their agent
Three these things forever unreal,
Three things forever the pill.
