SteemPH Meet-Up Caravan in Bulacan!

I am relatively new to Steemit, my account is just more than a month old. I don't know many things about steemit. I'm doing my own research but i think it is not enough. I know I need to meet more people with the same interest and have more experience in blogging and with this social media like platform so that I can learn from them and hopefully I can share my knowledge to the people around me. Luckily for me, a meetup caravan was planned and executed near my place so with no second thoughts, I immediately accepted the invitation of @enjieneer and I also invited my partner in life @joninacalara to attend the event. It was held in a nice,peaceful quiet restaurant in Malolos,Bulacan namely Bahay na Tisa Restaurant.

How the event went?

It was a well planned and well executed event spearheaded by this lovely couple Sir Red Dayao @steemitph and ate danda @dandalion.

First things first,they gave a very good introduction on what is steemit.com and how can we earn from steemit

Sir @steemitph taught us that we should not be ashamed if one of our goal in joining steemit is earning money, but in the long run you will discover there are a lot of things you can learn aside from earning money.

They also gave introduction about steemph, its mission,vision and goals.

They also introduced us to @steemnest, where they centralized the things where lessons in creating good contents is found. Hey it's very helpful for a newbie like us!

We were also taught about steem witnesses,who are they and what they do, they endorsed some witness we should vote and they gave us introduction who these witnesses are. As of this writing, I voted these witnesses, i have 26 votes remaining. If you want to suggest more to me, just leave it on comment section, I will research about it and if i found him/her/it good, I will glady vote him/her/it.

They also introduced us to @utopian-io and @sndbox

They shared to us what is it about, what are its objective, how rewarding it is to be a contributor. I found this very interesting and i am currently doing my own research about them. Thanks for sharing us this opportunity!

My biggest learning: Powering Up!

Before I go to this event, I have no knowledge about powering up. After this event, i learned a lot(from my perspective,coming from zero knowledge hehe) of it. The basic concept, how I would benefit from this, how would it help the community to grow. Hey after the event I immediately use all the SBD i earned from blogging for the whole month and converted it to steempower. It is small I know, but it is all i have and this will be the start. I am planning to divert other of my cryptofunds so that i can power up. I am thinking of saying goodbye to my TRX(Tron) HAHAHAHA

What's next?

I am looking forward on what the steemians from Bulacan will do, whatever it is you can expect full support from me! :)))
