We are not just creating a community but a family. Steemit has touched so many people from different walks of like from different corners in the world.

Hello itinerants all over the world and steemit community! Did you miss the CEBU STEEMIT BLOGGERS MEET UP? After the sleepless nights and unending promotions of the event and the platform, we recently held another incredibly victorious event (6TH MEET UP) at Dolce Cafe, Panorama Nivel Hills. It was quite on its last minute when I decided to finalize the date and event place and we were surprised by the numbers of people attended. This time we made it to the next level. We gathered the active steemians in Cebu, from newbies, existing users and international steemians. I started creating events such as meet up since last March 2017 to the sole purpose of gathering each and everyone to spare sometime of their lives interacting with other, making new friends and sharing of ideas while having having fun. We may never know that someone that we meet in the meetup is facing a battle in his or her life. Interacting to each and everyone can relief the stress and at least makes us forget our problems while being surrounded by these optimistic and goal-oriented individuals.

As a New Year has just started, I have so many visions that spring to my mind. One of these is to consistently create meetup events that would make deeper connections between steemians, help those are struggling in the community, promote steemit and gather more international existing and non-users.

In reality, meetups have often have beneficial impact to us specially being part of the platform and crypto world. It's difficult to learn all of the information and techniques on how to be successful in the community. That's why it's very important to engage oneself to others in order for us to recreate ourselves by learning from them.
