[Meet Up KSI] Koi Fish, The Community Inspiration

Steemit Indonesia Community (KSI) has conducted several meet ups in various chapters. The most recent one is the Meet Up KSI Chapter Pidie, using the theme of “Meusaboh”, held on 18 March 2018 at Cafee Biru Langit, which is located near to the beach.

The theme of "meusaboh" reminds me of the Koi fishes I captured using my cellphone camera on the way to the KSI Chapter Bandung Meet Up on February 2018, and also during my stay in Bandung after the event. The pictures were captured in two locations, the villa and also in Rumah Mode area. Another one was captured in the inn I stayed in Sigli, when I attended the Meet Up KSI Chapter Pidie. This Koi fishes were painted on the wall at one of the corner of the inn.

And then, why should I relate these Koi fishes to the community? Koi in Japanese or Kanji means love. So, the fish with this beautiful color, the Koi fish become the symbol of love.

Based on the various source I have read, there is an inspiring and positive habit of the Koi fishes that also well known as the goldfish. This habit, I believe, is fit to apply in growing up and build a good interaction in the community. But for the one that is a single player type, the habit means nothing. The single player just think how to earn money by himself on his way. So, this will not work at all.

Are you curious about the habit? What is it? What we can learn from the habit?
The literatures said, that the Koi fishes are the team player, living in group. You can see by yourself as well, when there is a fish that living away from the group, it means that this one is unhealthy, and the owner will take it for quarantine. There is no bossy fish in the group, play and interact very well and friendly to each other, also in the mating activities. If there is a new comer is also has a warm welcome in the group. No bullying at all. Haha.

Back to KSI. You will meet this great habit in KSI. My self, feel that KSI Chapter Banda Aceh is rich of this spirit. @kemal13, the leader of the chapter, plays awesomely and friendly in reaching and interact to the whole of the group member. No bossy attitude applied. Lots of fun and positive result came out from the meet ups conducted there.

Then, what about the other KSI Chapters? Do they also have this good one?
Yes, of course! This positive aura is also growing well in the others chapters. Anytime the meet ups take place, the KSI members will attend the meet up happily by his/her own initiative. As the Koi fishes who loves to swim in togetherness.

Komunitas Steemit Indonesia (KSI) sudah melaksanakan meet up diberbagai chapter. Paling terkini adalah Meet Up KSI Chapter Pidie yang mengangkat tema "Meusaboh" Minggu, 18 Maret 2018 di Cafee Biru langit yang letaknya persis di pinggir pantai.

Tema "meusaboh" mengingatkan saya pada ikan koi yang saya abadikan dengan kamera handphone kala berada di Bandung, juga dalam perjalanan Meetup KSI Chapter Bandung, 16 Februari 2018. Foto ini saya abadikan di dua lokasi, penginapan dan di area Rumah Mode, plus lukisan di dinding penginapan kala berada di Sigli dalam rangka menghadiri Meet Up KSI Chapter Pidie.

Mengapa komunitas saya kaitkan dengan ikan Koi? Koi dalam bahasa Jepang atau bahasa Kanji berarti cinta. Jadi, ikan yang memiliki warna warni yang cantik ini dinamakan ikan Koi untuk menjadi simbol cinta kasih.

Penamaan ikan mas dengan nama ikan Koi tepat. Dari berbagai bacaan yang pernah saya baca, ikan Koi ternyata punya sifat yang bisa menginspirasi mereka yang senang berkomunitas, kalau yang tidak senang, _dumpu ta peugah hana dipateh, lam ulee yang penteng sen. _

Apa yang bisa kita petik dari perilaku ikan Koi? Ikan ini, dalam banyak literatur disebut senang bergaul, bila ada ikan yang menyendiri maka itu pertanda ada parasit pada dirinya, mesti segera dikarantina. Pada ikan Koi juga tidak ada istilah ngebos, pejantan tidak kasar pada betina, saling lemah lembut, dan hana kleut alias liar. Bila ada ikan Koi baru datang tidak ada yang bertindak kasar apalagi sampai di bully dan dikeroyok hahaha.

Sifat-sifat itu ada di KSI. Saya pribadi merasakan spirit koi di KSI Chapter Banda Aceh. Meski ada ketua @kemal13 tapi tidak ngebos. Bagi yang ada kesempatan pasti saling bertemu, dan bila sudah kumpul asyiknya bukan main. Bagaimana dengan di daerah lain? Saya kira, nuansa yang sama juga berlaku di daerah lain. Buktinya, dimanapun Meet up digelar, selalu saja ada yang datang dengan inisiatif sendiri. Seperti ikan Koi, selalu senang berenang bersama.
