My pet forest from Bhopa Devi in Docklands

I'm not into pets, but this little forest in a jar has now become an amazing way for me to connect with nature and manage my solo living. Apart from Steemit and crypto and my full-time work, I spend time peering into this little jar for peace. It works!

JamieX from Bhopa Devi in Docklands introduced me to these magical jars a few years back. This is probably the only living thing apart from humans I'll ever have inside my unit. I'm suspicious of dogs and cats and although I'm fond of snakes, I'd never have the courage to keep one as a pet. I was unaware of these creations till I spotted them at this trendy Melbourne restaurant.

I knew very little about terrariums. When I assigned Jamie to make one for me, I asked him if he can introduce marijuana plants into them and make a special one for me. Last night I collected my first jar and Jamie said what grows out of it will be a surprise and will remain a secret. There's no official confirmation from the maker of this terrarium that there will be heavenly weeds growing in them, but if there are, I swear I'll let them grow wildly, freely in this jar of love.

Each time you open its lid and plant your face on top, the fragrance you get takes you to a rainforest and it's totally therapeutic. They are new to my place, but in time I'm sure I'll learn to talk to them and choose names for each plant.

Creating terrariums is a passion for Jamie. If you ever visit Melbourne or if you are a Melburnian, Bhopa Devi is a must visit. Not just to have great food, but to spot some of Jamie's work.

The restaurant is owned and managed by Chan and Jamie and the food is amazing. My favourite is grilled Barramundi with grated ginger on a bed of rice. They have a Cambodian name for it which I do not remember. But check it out ...Just tell Jamie you want the Barramundi with grated ginger. :)

And yes, if you visit the restaurant, you got to request Jamie to make a funny face and I bet he'll beat Jim Carrey's bizare antics.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

And yes, if you visit the restaurant, you got to request Jamie to make a funny face and I bet he'll beat Jim Carrey's bizzare antics.
It should be bizarre instead of bizzare.
