Yeah, I tend to be a bit inconsistent with watering the house plants in the winter. I forget how fast the plants dry out with the winter heat on. It gets really dry in the house and that increases the evaporation of my aquarium and the poor plants.

Totally relate!! It’s the opposite here in Newfoundland, but in Edmonton it was sooooo dry all the time!
I have cats who love to destroy my plants, so many times I’ve had them die because I forgot about them because they’re in some weird obscure spot just to keep them away from said cats! 😂
