Positivity about the morning rush for kids..

My on-going positive post's is about rushing!
I have noticed the marked difference of being single, and having children. After being married for over a decade I realized what a difference children made..

For the betteror for the worse? Well I'll let you know when I'm older and I can tell you by the person feeding me. Other wise I'm feeling kinda slavish. No sleeping in, real money pressure, and of course being on time.

So today I had to take my kids to three different stops before work. I am now writing this on my break, but I was trying to see how I can remain positive with all the anxiety and pressure of being on time.

So thinking about it now, although rushed and feeling anxiety I did have more structure, discipline, and control. I guess that's better. Nobody ever said work is easy.

So I guess in the end the positivity in being rushed is that it requires the virtue of discipline to be on time. It forces me to grow unless I want to continuously struggle with being late and managing time.

I was on time for everything today. Albeit a little more tired than usual, but I guess I'll stay optimistic and positive about that as well. Can't wait to sleep in again! The weekend is almost here!

Oh yes lol I can relate! Thank God now my son drives himself, in parent world that's just another thing to worry about though....

Thankfully, my two dogs don't have much to do or places to go. Just walking them takes up nearly two hours of my day. I can't even imagine the time crunch that small children would create. More power to ya!

Bb, enjoy this time while you can my friend. At my age I can't rush like I used to, being retired only means you no longer have weekends to look forward to for sleeping in, sometimes just passing gas can be a hair raisin experience. Once I was a pretty active person, now the only time I move with any speed is when someone knocks on the door and I can't find my teeth.;)................ billytwohearts
