When u tired but u gotta STEEM!

I hit 100% voting power today.

I am Jack's unending regret.

Every moment I am at 100% voting power is a vote lost for a minnow that could very well deserve it.

Of course, it takes a lot of work to find all of those posts every day.

Steemit's a full-time job almost, that decides what to pay you on seemingly a whim, and only if you can produce something it deems worthwhile. It's kinda crazy. It's awesome too.

This GIF brought to you today by the letter G, and the letters I, M, and P. Gimp's a bitch to work with, but for some reason I keep using it to make gifs. It's what I got, and technically capable of doing so, no matter how much of a pain in the ass it is to use.

Nothing really special about this one. Saw this GIF clip from Fight Club, and I just so happened to be doing the usual fight to curate and not waste voting power by not using it.

You know, technically we get paid to curate...but I think the social obligation is far stronger than the monetary one. At least it is for me. I've made nearly 40 SP so far curating. That's not really bad. I think it's pretty good. Definitely not something I could survive on. I don't think I would want to survive on curation either. Even just making stupid GIFs when I don't really have it in me to do a full post is better than trying to curate for money. I don't enjoy curation. Hunting out good content to upvote isn't fun. It's surprisingly hard when your upvote actually means something. I can't imagine how hard it will be when my upvote is worth so much more.

Well, I've waffled on for too much when this was just supposed to be a stupid GIF. Have a good night, and STEEM ON!

I'm still new to all of this, but finding good content is like a needle in a haystack. There is a lot that is probably great, but I know nothing about cryptocurrency or blockchains, so I wouldn't know if someone is blowing smoke out of their ass.

I also have noticed that some people resteem so much I can't be bothered to search through it all to find an original thought. I guess if you get paid to resteem things it explains why so many do it.

I'll learn it all eventually. I hope.

You don't get paid to resteem. Some just resteem a lot.

There are a ton of people here interested in cryptocurrency, and a ton posting utter crap about it. I suggest you ignore it. The majority of it is crap.

It takes a while to find people that post thing that you will like. You might find a few in the first few days, but then later find that a few of them aren't posting things that you like so much. Slowly, over time, you find a group that posts stuff you like.

Finding great posts by new users, now that's a challenge and a half!

It's especially hard when you are looking at new posts in funny. So much garbage and regurgitated links and memes. Why post a link to something outside of Steemit? Kind of defeats the purpose IMHO.

I didn't know that about the resteem. I thought that was how you curate. Like I said, I'm learning.

Thanks for the lesson.

Nah, curating just means upvoting.

You upvote, and it's slightly more likely to be seen, depending on the size of your upvote, which can then get it more upvotes, etc. Although, if you upvote and resteem, if it's good enough, that's liable to get it even more upvotes. You get rewarded with SP from the post if you upvote early and it's successful. It's relatively small when you have little SP, but it increases as you get more.

It's selfless of you to curate and make other people's dreams come true.
Hmmmm 100% you say? Well Im loving the sound of that

but I think the social obligation is far stronger than the monetary one.

WE KEEP WORKING

You should post this on Dmania man

Dmania does work for me for some reason. Likely due to me being on Linux.

You can try to follow some curations guilds like curie, ocd, and others for finding small minnows to help!

PS: Loved the subtitle "with insomnia, nothing's real" I kinda feel it everyday :)

I already do.

Being an entrepreneur is living a few years of you life like most people won't so you can live the rest of your life like most people can't :)

Where minnow could find you? ))
