This Weeks Note:

The Judge said last week was "Good Week". So let's build on it!

But the members of the Steeminati are freaking still dominating the leader board, I can tell you the fix is not in.

But I am fixing it this week, Anyone who has won in the last 4 weeks since the Steeminati Run... Can not get the first place prize this week! And all Stemminati will be upvoting your entries... So spread the word.

A huge bit of information I got during a discussion with the Judge this week, as you know he was a member of improv groups for about 6 years and appears in front of captive audiences all the time.

He said to me and I quote "if there is a grammer or spelling mistake or wrong word use, I throw it out immediately."

I replied to him that there were people that were from foreign countries and people using shortened slang.

To which he replied that "Look Comedy is all about timing, if you read a meme and have to figure out what the person is saying, or see something spelled wrong the immediate laugh is lost because of timing."

He pointed out that he gets the post to judge on his phone and reads all entries in under 2 to 3 minutes, and if he smiles immediately it's all that matters, if he has to figure it out the laugh is lost, it's over after all there are other entries.

Now my brother and I have a different view to towards the world and jokes I like to mull them over and laughs slowly build for me. He's more vapid when it comes to comedy...But he's the Judge....Note again this week a remake Meme Joke went well with him... It seems that if you refer to Entertainment Remakes and Reuse of old slogans in different ways besides office jokes, your going to do well.

In addition he said to me the obvious crude jokes related to Balls two weeks ago and Sex with Tools this last week, were old and played and to easy, and in his opinion not funny (another place where he and I defer). So take that under advisement.

The other thing I found out is he doesn't read any of the text in the blog or the posts, he only looks at the images for the couple of you who actually know him (Stan and Stu). He says if you want to say something to him call him or email him...

Mondays I bring this Contest devoted to LAUGHTER of making a meme! Where you the contestants try and make all your fellow Steemian's laugh and turn your post into the Black Plaque Level Viral of sharing.

EVERY WEEK there are multiple Holidays (Some Big Some Small)..
So the Pictures for the Subject of the Meme's are from that week's Holidays.

There will always be the big Holiday and a few small ones. So right now you already know that you can brush
off your firecracker jokes the week of July 4th. And bunny rabbits on Easter week....This should make it alot easier for my fellow Steemians..

To that end we have a different subject matter to make a Meme from each week.
While the Jokes don't have to be aligned with the subject matter the most important thing is it makes us laugh!!!

Unlike other contests, in Memeday you get more than one picture to choose from for inspiration....

I had so much to choose from it was a plethora of Pictures this week. It starts very quiet with: National Quilting Day

And if you are an Irish Jew or Anyone who loves to Party Then call in sick this week, because your suppose to drink till you get sick, with two of the Biggest Drinking and Partying Days of the Year Midweek...
First Saint Patrick's Day followed by Purim. Thankfully you can take care of the massive hangover at the end of the week with National Goof Off Day.

Here are the particulars related to the entry itself:
a) no profanity

b) you can change the background, move pieces around, cut dice and duplicate, as long as we can tell it came from the original picture. Just don't go to far a field.

d) Watch out for grammer and spelling errors, the Preent Judge is strict about it....

• I will announce the winners a few days after it is over and the Judge tells me the placements in a post with the words [RESULT] infront of the title. The reward pool distribution will come out shortly after 7 days when the upvote rewards on this post are sent to me.

• One rule, you can NOT reuse a prior posting it is considered at least disqualification

• plagiarism will could be permanent disbarment from future events,

• Everyone receives 1 participation, and 3 contestant points for each entry.

And Here's the change to the Rewards

• The top 3 places will split the 10 SBI reward pool for this event 5, 3, AND 2 (you can only win one reward per event). If THERE IS A TIE THEN the rewards are split.

• 1st will get an addition 15 contest point, 2nd 10, 3rd 5, and Honorable Mentions will receive 2 more each
