Throughout my life, with many relocations and moves, where ever I have hung my hat has become home, but there are moments when I miss living in Round Valley! I now live in the woods, no more big sky. I often miss that big sky, even though I love my privacy and the beautiful trees that now surround me, although way too many fall down during wind storms.
But taking a walk in the back field with the dogs, who loved to run around with the horses, and which had a panoramic view of the entire valley, an enormous sky, with little obtrusive light, seeing meteors, and stars, and full moons and must say, nothing will ever replace the magic of it, even as I remember, there is magic everywhere if one seeks it.
I'm fine where I am, but at least some of my memories are precious to me.
