Previously I talked about how I tried to repair the old phone that spoil and it didn't work out after checking alot of places because the phone isn't a brand new or a sealed phone, is a unique phone with no other parts of it in the market. It was gone and I was left with no option but to continue saving money to buy a brand new phone.
Despite the fact that the money I get for transportation and snacks to eat in school altogether is less than 2 steem, I didn't feel discouraged and I knew I was about to risk my health just to buy a phone and join steemit. What I meant by risking my health is trekking a long distance to school and back home. I was also starving myself in school sometimes, I won't eat anything throughout my stay in the school, sometimes I will be learning and be thinking about food 😂
Trekking wasn't really my problem because am always used to that right from when I was in junior high school, my parents were always warning me to stop trekking and to also stop starving myself in school, I was very young then and all I wanted was to get a phone for myself since my parents couldn't afford it that period, I was so determined as well. I wasn't even buying anything for myself at all and within two months I saved more than 10k which is currently 30 steem.
I kept on saving and saving and saving, then it was now March 2022 that I got up to 5k and my mum and I wanted to buy a phone through easy buy (pay half amount first) we arrived at the place and my mum wasn't really satisfied with the terms and conditions because she didn't want to risk her salary ATM card, she wished she came with her other ATM card she could have done it, I insisted that nothing negative will happen to her bank account she refused.
I saw some nice phones that weren't really expensive but we had to leave them and go for the cheaper ones since we will be paying with the available money we had and no longer part payment. We left the place because they don't have the cheap phone we are looking for and we got to another phone center to buy a cheaper phone I didn't really like at first.To be continued.
