24 Karat Gold Cufflinks by Mene Jewelry

I’m kind of obsessed with these Mene 24 karat gold cufflinks.

I tried to look for anything similar with zero luck. I couldn’t find any other 24k gold cufflinks at all.

The closest thing I could find were these:

The thing is, these cufflinks really aren't that close.

The first reason is that they are not 24 karat gold. These cufflinks are 14 karat gold. 14 karat gold is only about 58% gold, with the rest of the product made up of alloys.

The second reason is that even though they have about half the gold percentage wise as Mene Cufflinks, you will notice that they actually cost more.

This brings us to our third reason they aren’t close to the Mene cufflinks, which is that the weight and design fee are not disclosed.

Unfortunately we can’t do a real comparison here because like most jewelry companies, the weight of the jewelry, which would tell us how much actual gold is in the cufflinks, is nowhere to be found.

We can only guess. Assuming that the other cufflinks are the same total weight as Mene, you would be getting 58% of the gold for a higher price.

If someone can find me 24 karat gold cufflinks that disclose the gram weight, please send them my way so we can have a legit face off.

In the meantime, I’ll just stare longingly at these Mene cufflinks:
