Here it is! The controversial infographic that has gone viral from Goldmoney!

I’m chuckling as I write this because if people dig a little deeper, they will understand that it’s really not that controversial.

This infographic has garnered a lot of attention due to the “#dropgold” campaign that started a bit of a brouhaha between Grayscale and Goldmoney.

The funny thing is that few have actually read the white paper from Roy Sebag, Goldmoney and Mene founder and CEO, which responded to the grayscale ad.

It is very important to understand the context here.

Let me repost Roy’s quote from the original PR that published the whitepaper:

“It is my hope that the Bitcoin community will embrace this research and a shared understanding that the gold and cryptocurrency communities should be working together rather than against each other as we march towards the inevitable demise of the fiat currency system,” said Roy Sebag, CEO of Goldmoney.

Note that Roy is not attacking bitcoin.

Somehow people continue to misinterpret the meanings of the white paper and the infographic.

I hope people take the time to read the entire whitepaper and understand the intention behind it.
