Damn, Mene really outdid themselves with this 24K Gold pendant. As I was browsing through their collection, I noticed they added some new pendants. Immediately, the Mano Figa stood out to me.
After a little bit of research I came to learn that this symbol is actually a hand gesture used by people in ancient Italy to ward off evil or the "evil-eye". "Figa" or "fico" means Fig and Mano means hand. Its supposed to represent sexual union, fertility and virility which ward off evil energies. I could use some extra help in keeping negative and evil energies away from me, so the timing of finding this pendant is not coincidental.
Ive had interest in purchasing something from Mene for a while now. Not because of materialistic reasons but because I am impressed with their business model and their actual products as well and would like to support their cause.
