in menopause •  6 months ago
The characteristics of menstruation before menopause is the menstrual cycle becomes irregular. Menstrual cycles will start to come out or later than scheduled. Menstrual cycles will start to stop completely within 4 years after your last period. Towards the end of the perimenopause period, the menstrual cycle will actually get longer. The definition of a long cycle here is the distance between periods of more than 36 days. The cycle becomes long because there is a cycle in which ovulation does not occur. As a result, menstruation does not occur or menstruation becomes very light with a short duration. In general, the characteristics of women who have experienced menopause are as follows:
  1. There is a change in the menstrual cycle
  2. The body feels warm like a fever
  3. Having insomnia
  4. Mood swings
  5. Changes occur in skin and hair

Every woman will experience menopause. It's just that the difference is a matter of time. If we study menopause, we certainly think that only the elderly experience it. However, in fact women who are still relatively young can experience menopause.
