Mercedes Benz gets serious--new electric models

Over the next two years, Mercedes Benz (Mercedes Malaysia) took electric vehicles seriously. From now to 2022, the company will release six new EQ models, three new electric intelligent models, and an electric version of a multifunctional sprinter minivan, which has a variety of functions, from moving car to work car, to RV. All this depends on the global battery production network.
They plan to lead in the field of electric vehicles, especially battery technology. Markus Sch è fer, board member of Daimler and Mercedes Benz, said they were taking a comprehensive approach from R & D to production, including strategic cooperation.

By 2022, Mercedes will build six new EQ models. These are EQA, EQB, EQs, EQE, EQE and EQS SUV. The details are still weak because the formal disclosure and announcement have not yet been released, but they do give us some information about what is going to happen and tell us that they are doing it (unlike Toyota).
EQA and EQB will be compact cars, and EQA's announcement will be released on January 20. It seems like a bad day to get the news (the inauguration of the U.S. president is on that day), but in America, the world doesn't revolve around us.
The new car (EQA) will be built at the rastat plant and on the same production line as petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. This is a common theme of MB's move towards electrification, as the EQC and EQV models already launched (produced in other factories) are manufactured in the same way. EQA will also start production for the Chinese market in Beijing next year.
The EQB will be a compact SUV. It has not yet announced a listing date, but we know it will be built in Hungary for the global market and in Beijing for the Chinese market (e.g. EQA). The factory decoration in these two locations is already in progress. Hybrid cars will also be produced in Hungarian factories. Mercedes said it would be the first Bev to be produced in China.
The EQS will be an electric luxury car. It will be part of the new S-class program and will share a plant with other upcoming Mercedes Maybach vehicles. Although it will be the only vehicle on its production line in Sindelfingen, Germany, it will eventually share the line with other upcoming natural gas and hybrid vehicles.
EQE will also be a car, but for business customers. It will be produced in Germany and China and will be officially announced in the second half of 2021.
Finally, at Tuscaloosa plant in Alabama, the SUV versions of EQE and EQS will be produced in the United States (they know we like our rolling apartments). Like all other cars, the line will be shared with natural gas and hybrid cars.
New intelligent electric vehicle

Smart has been fully electric for some time, but some new / updated global models are coming out.
Details in this regard are even rarer, but the three new smart electric vehicles will be produced in Europe and will also be produced jointly with Geely in China. This will include smart fortwo, smart fortwo cabrio and smart forfour. Mercedes didn't give details of the launch dates of the upcoming vehicles.
