Mercedes has unveiled what i think must be the most gorgeous automotive specimen a masterpiece of art deco design and classic looks with a body almost 6 meters in length adorning a bonnet/hood that reaches for the stars. Mercedes-Maybach unveiled its new all-electric Vision 6 Cabriolet concept at the 2017 Monterey Car Week in California.
The Maybach doesn't have an engine but consists of a battery, it has around 80kWh worth of capacity, has four magnet synchronous electric motors resulting in an impressive 200-mile EPA-estimated range and it's capable of outputting a staggering 738 horsepower. The top speed reaches to a governed 155 mph and 0-60 under 4 seconds making this luxury mercedes a considerably quick automobile weighing 3 tonnes.
Let's take a look at the interior, featuring a lavish, quilted crystal white nappa leather finish with interwoven gold thread. The leather is placed into folds in a diamond pattern and secured to the frame with buttons, the open-pore wood floor with inlaid aluminium underscores is reminiscent with a hint of yachting. The Maybach reminds the driver that he's driving something rather special and looking at the recent unveiling this has to be the car the super rich would want to have residing with their other beautiful machines.
