THOUGHTS

Our existence today has been because of the mercy of God. The fact remains that we are not better than those who are dead. We are not alive because we are the most righteous people. The bible makes it clear in Lamentations 3:22 that it is by God’s mercies that we are not consumed. There is nothing that we receive from God that we are actually qualified to have but God keeps meeting our needs in spite of our shortcomings. We cannot count the occasions in which God has shown us mercy. If God should mark our guilt, nobody will live. How many times have we gone against God’s will and He still preserves us? Very often, we have offended our neighbors but God’s mercy remains available? Let us turn to Him and ask Him never to allow that mercy to depart from us.
