The 5th SteemGigs Discord Talk Show

I love you Karen.

I joined the SteemGigs Discord #general chat almost 2 hours before 12 am last night. I did chatting with some Steemians from different locations in the world. Since @surpassinggoogle didn’t make a post, others were curious asking whether the talk show will be on but I was not so sure. Then Sir Terry (Vote “Steemgigs” witness) showed up and clarified that there will be a talk show. I waited for another 30 minutes but when 12 am strikes, I cannot connect in the voice chat. It seems like discord has a technical problem because it’s not just me who can’t connect. After more almost 30 minutes, some were already connected, unfortunately I can’t hear a word from Sir Terry. I was checking the #general chat and the show already began. I tried to perceive what’s going on in the show by checking the response from the attendees.

I was getting disappointed but patiently waiting. Finally, after waiting for too long, suddenly I was connected to the voice chat and the others also. I got to catch up.

What I first heard from Sir Terry is about the flag botting and discussed the ‘true beauty of Steem blockchain.’

He encouraged everyone to “make yourself your first audience,” in creating a Steemit post. He also tries to educate everyone in the room about Steemit. I’m feeling so naïve because there’s a lot to learn about Steemit and I am very thankful with @surpassinggoogle. He’s very patient in inculcating and sharing the knowledge he’s possessing. Who knows, maybe, everyone in the room will be like @surpassinggoogle someday. It will be awesome to see some @surpassinggoogle-like Steemians.

Most people are very concern about grammar, on the contrary, Sir Terry is uplifting us by saying “don’t worry about your grammar.” There will always be flaws in our post, but it’s okay. Don’t mind the Grammar Nazis.
