The messiah in the book of Micah: He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. Micah 4:2

God's plan in the Christian faith developed progressively and gradually through human history as the Bible tells us and we especially see this when the sacred scriptures reveal and anticipate to us the mystery of the grace and the incarnation, and an example of this were the predictions of the minor prophet Micah. Micah was contemporary of Isaiah and Hosea and predicted the fall of the kingdoms of Judah and Israel among other things. Micah, like all the prophets, was a man who feared God and denounced the oppression and injustice of the powerful towards the weak, but not everything was bad for this prophet, there was also a space for hope.
The prophet Micah in his book gave us an oracle, which was a prophecy about the arrival of the Lord Jesus Christ. This prophecy about Jesus bears a marked resemblance to the prophecy about Emmanuel in the Book of Isaiah.
Micah anticipated that this offspring of King David, the promised messiah, would bring the knowledge of the Lord, perhaps here the prophet anticipated the mysteries of the Kingdom that would come with Jesus, and a new order or a domain that would bring profound changes in humanity, because all peoples would recognize the Lord. For Micah this promise of salvation, was the concretion of the pact made between God and King David, a promise that should be the sustenance of all hope in the Lord as the prophet revealed in his oracle:
"He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
He will judge between many peoples
and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.
Everyone will sit under their own vine
and under their own fig tree,
and no one will make them afraid,
for the LORD Almighty has spoken" Micah 4:2-4.
