Volunteer Opportunites!

Can you guess why we use this picture for volunteering with Yeshua Groups? Because every group is like a campfire, and our job is to bring more wood to keep the home fires burning! We spent the last year reworking our whole volunteer system and we now have 22 little jobs you could help with to keep our network growing and glowing. Each job comes with instructions so you know exactly what to do. It'll only need to be done once a week or once a month and once you're set up it shouldn't take long. We call each job a ministry because really that's what they are. Here are the open ministries, organized into groups, with a little description and how often it'll need your attention.

ADMINISTRATORS
Updating System (Weekly) Process emails and group join requests, update system
Group Contributions (Monthly) Request annual updates and contributions from groups
Adding & Removing Groups (When Needed) Update sheets, online groups, and map
Processing Stories (When Needed) Prep stories for email and social media

CHAMPIONS
Emails (Weekly) Star emails for admins, leader care, managers and reply to all others
Facebook (Weekly) Respond to comments on both pages
Instagram (Weekly) Respond to comments and messages
Twitter (Weekly) Respond to tweets and messages
Tumblr (Weekly) Respond to comments and messages
Pinterest, Steemit, LinkedIn (Weekly) Respond to comments and messages
Social Media Posting (When Needed) Post to social media from share folder

LEADER CARE
Check in with Leaders (Monthly) Send email to leaders with invitation to share update in leaders group
Follow up with Potentials (Monthly) Email people who expressed interest in starting a group
Interviews (When Needed) Review applications, send "welcome" or "sorry" emails

MANAGERS
Add & Remove Legends (When Needed) Process applications, add and remove volunteers from system
Start & Stop Ministries (When Needed) Oversee volunteers starting new ministries and discontinuing old ones
Fill Ministries (When Needed) Put the word out when a ministry needs to be filled
Create Docs, Ministries, Groups (When Needed) Grow system as new needs and opportunities arise
Projects (When Needed) Execute projects and develop system
