Modern Black Metal and Jazz

It sounds crazy, but White Ward from Ukraine has really done something amazing with their album Futility Report.

This band is really hard to categorize, but I'd call their sound Ethereal Blackened Jazz Metal (maybe?). They have a dedicated saxophone player!

This song deserves a listen, you won't regret it. Please let me know what you think. I'd love to get a good metal fan community going on here.

Can't wait to give this a listen! I'm new to the site but would also love to see more metal

I remember other metal band from Ukraine with saxophone. Not sure if they are still active, but they were called Aura of Insane. i would not be surprised if they are related somehow.

I love this avantgarde kind of band and White Ward is one of my favorites. Also Nokturnal Mortum, also from Ukraine, and Nekrogoblikon or Ephel Duath.
