How I Found Relief to Recurring Feet Pains Using The Best Metatarsal Pads

As a woman, high heels are our best friends when it comes to presenting ourselves at work, in social media or anywhere in public as a part of our OOTDs (Outfit of the Day). Most often than not, pumps result to developing a painful foot condition called Morton's neuroma which targets an excruciating pain on the middle three toes when standing.

Body weight can also affect the amount of stress our feet receives as we go through our daily lives. Being healthy and wearing pumps put a great strain on our metatarsals, that ball on our feet which we use too much. Physically active people suffer from Metatarsalgia or stone bruise. Excessive running, jumping and other strenuous activities using our legs can lead to broken metatarsals that need post-surgery care.

My consequence of looking beautiful outside is a pair of bottoms that are not very appealing for a lady. I change footwear a couple of times a day in my morning run, at work, socials at night and on the weekend. Different shoes have a different fit that’s why blisters are a common sight on my feet. But I have always been careful in choosing the right size to avoid developing corns and calluses.

As much as I want to avoid standing up, walking and running, all these are part of the healthy lifestyle I am trying to promote. Fortunately, the foot pains I am experiencing can still be relieved with cold compress and plenty of rest. Until last Christmas when my lovely niece had me try on a feet cushion.

It was awesome! I loved it the first time I tried it on with my sneakers at our family’s annual holiday event. As you might notice, I am a little plump but I am very proud with my body. The foot cushions helped greatly to lessen the pain on the trigger points. I just thought it was a little thin for my foot size, I guess, so I went to look for a better brand.

Thank the universe for Amazon because it makes shopping a whole lot easier. I found out that those two comfy little things are called met pads. After reading on some reviews and research, there were not so much of a difference in the prices so, as expected; I went for the product with the top feedback and found the best metatarsal pads ever.

The gel pads come in pair because, well, we have two feet yeah? With my foot size, I am satisfied that the pad balls are stretchable and are able to cover a good portion of my feet. So instead of focusing the pain on my metatarsals, especially the middle three, the met pads help my foot adjust, spreading out the pain.

The pads also work great for runners and hikers like me. I can wear it in all footwear and I cannot believe it took me this long to discover such a useful thing. Great things come in small packages indeed and I couldn’t wait to travel the world with my happy two feet.
