The RFOX VALT retail and entertainment Metaverse ecosystem offers a wide variety of engaging activities.
One of its many components offers video games that pay you to play them. The KOGs NFT ecosystem began as collectibles in 2020. The intention was to release someday a mobile game computing all of its logic on a blockchain network.
Mission accomplished! The free game KOGs: SLAM! is now in public beta mode for Android users. But that’s not all the good news for KOGs participants!
Southeast Asian expansion
For now, you must meet specific qualifications if you want to play KOGs: SLAM! First of all, you must play on an Android device. At least for the time being. Apple’s approval process for listing products in the App Store is notoriously rigorous.
We can bet that the RFOX Games team is ticking all the boxes and implementing anything Apple asks for. Cutting out iOS users is out of the question.
Also, if you want to earn KOINS inside KOGs: SLAM! so you can trade them for $RFOX tokens, you must live in a supported country. What started as 15 countries, the new SLAM! build includes five more, most of which are in SEA.
Here’s a list if you’d like to check for your country before committing to an app download:
Australia / Canada / Cambodia / Denmark / Germany / Laos / Malaysia / Myanmar / Netherlands / New Zealand / Norway / Philippines / Singapore / Sri Lanka / Taiwan / Thailand / Ukraine / United Kingdom / United States / Vietnam
We can expect this list to grow as time marches on.
Token teleportation
To make it easier for SLAM! players to cash out their earnings, the RFOX team has created a useful token bridge. You see, KOGs NFTs live on the WAX blockchain, but RFOX tokens are on the Ethereum network and Binance Smart Chain.
But now that the ETH-WAX bridge is live, P2E funds can stay on the WAX side for use in the KOGs ecosystem. Want to try the bridge out for yourself? Here is the link: ETH-WAX Token Bridge.
So, now we have $RFOX, the VALT’s currency used to settle all transactions, operating on three separate networks. Which one will be next?
The Metaverse is meant to be interlinked. We should be able to move our avatars from realm to realm freely. And if those environments run on tokens, it behooves operators to use as many blockchains as possible.
The new bridge is fantastic for KOGs and even better for the entire RFOX multiverse.
